One of Bersih & Pakatan Rakyat demands are - 'A minimum campaign period of 21 days'. Is this really a serious issue, effecting the campaign of Pakatan Rakyat? The Pakatan Rakyat leaders lack of time to campaign during the election? The Pakatan Rakyat leaders find it difficult to convey their message in a short period? I believe its just a political gimmick and PR are more interested in politicizing every issue in the Nation. PR leaders campaign almost 365 days in a year and isn't that enough for them. If SPR were to allow a 21 day campaign period, it will not only be a boost for PR, but Barisan National it self. SPR have to look into many factor. Safety, security, fund, workforce and etc. Many party workers who works in private firm will need to apply for more leaves. This troubles the local and foreign investors. There are many aspect that the government need to look into. So, PR can campaign the next 365 days without any worry.
