Rubbish Issue Being Raised Up Since 2009

Today i came across one of the paper cutting. Oktober 2009, Major Huan had highlighted on the rubbish not being clean & collected all around Perai. This particular place is at Taman Chai leng and about 200 meters from the DAP / Prof Rama service center. We had visited the place together with the member of the media to highlight on this issue. Up to now rubbish, clog drain & etc remains in Perai.

'Cleaner Greener Penang?' on Malaysiakini

Our news was highlighted in Malaysiakini. Good write up by Susan Loone. Well its so childish for the MPSP councilor to say, dont politicize the rubbish issue. Its he & DAP who are politicizing the issue. Why dont they see the real picture of the issue that being raised? It concern's the health of the people. Well for some morons who has placed the comment, we know well who it is. The typo and sentence is well recognized. Carry on supporting blindly. We were against MPSP who  lack on their service, but some kids are concern to comment by supporting the council. Wake up and see for your own!

My Second Major Event in 2001

This was my second major event that was organized. Initially we met this elderly guy at Jalan Baru Temple and he had told her on his wish to cycle around the whole country. Since we were lack of experience, we spoke to YB. N Gobalakrishnan ( independent MP ) who was that a member of PKR Supreme Council member. When we requested for his assistance, we decided to organize the event under the NGO name Mooneruvom. Mr Murugiah ( the cyclist ) started his attempt in December 2001 and completed it in the same month. It was a successful event and many friends had gave a hand to it.

My First Step Into Community Service

This was my first ever event and my first step into community service. We were informed that around 5 families in Taiping  are in a very poor state and needed assistance from the public. All our friends started collecting funds among us and also sold empty F&N Bottles. Those who were with me than was my close friend Krishna ( partially seen in the pic with cap ), Sateesh ( Ex Staff of prof Ramasamy ), Rambo @ Siva & Vijay.

We lost all the photos and only a few pic was still in my collection. I still remember this particular family ( above ). The girl who is in the picture had scored well in her UPSR but couldn't continue due to financial reason. I could still recall, that this was the last house we were visiting out of the 5 houses and we were all scared + nervous since this house was situated on a graveyard. This was my first ever event and its more than 11 years im in the community service line. So for some who have jump into Perai for personal gains, can stop saying me and my team are new to politics / community events. It is all of you who are have personal interest in mind than contributing for the community!

Inderawasih Dump Site Cleared & Cordon Off

We had raised up the Inderawasih Dump Site earlier. Thanks to MPSP Special Squad, Mr Raju who had taken fast action by not only clearing off the rubbish, but by cordoning off the area. He have done a very good job. Initially this particular place was full of rubbish and tires causing various problems to be public. Rather than complaining that those responsible have not been undertaking their responsibility, its better we extend the complains & issues to relevant authorities for the benefit of the local residents.

Press Conference on "Cleaner Greener Penang?"

Today we had our PC on 'Cleaner, Greener Penang?'. Earlier, we had our medical cam which compromise blood donation, free medical check up and organ donation. BM Hospital had assisted us and Dr Guna ( Poliklinik Rajoo - Perai ), had come in to assist on free medical check up.

We hope, after this issue is highlighted in the press, MPSP will take necessary action to clear off all rubbish and dump site. Lets stop all this hidden agenda by the DAP led state government and commit to the healthy living of our community.

MPSP & State Government Hidden Agenda?

RM 54.39 million that was able to be saved by MPSP. Good job. Is MPSP a council that oversee and uphold the responsibility to manage an area or it is a profit making organization? Well funds can be saved by good managing. But is it fair to neglect the Rakyat? Why is this happening? Why rubbish are not collected? Why drains are not cleared and cleaned? Why there are dump site almost in every residential area? Why grass are not being cut? Why park ( Taman Tunku ) gas grass grown up to knee level? There are certain areas, street lamp are switch out after midnight.

MPSP have cut down on its services which in a positive note have enable them to save more fund. But what many dont realize is the services that should be given to the public, to create a clean environment to uphold their initiative of Cleaner & Greener Penang. By cutting down on this service, millions can be saved? What is the reason MPSP is saving its fund. Simple, by showing on paper that MPSP is being well managed, they can create a positive impression on them. This will create a huge impact during election all over the country that Lim Guan Eng, DAP & MPSP have been managing the funds well.
But its the Seberang Perai residents that are facing the consequences. When areas are not cleaned and maintained, it causes mosquito breeding and that is the reason dengue cases on the rise. Th public responsibility to maintain cleanliness is one of the factor. But the main responsibility is on the local councils shoulder. Dengue cases is on the rise and Health Department have been conducting fogging almost everyday. But when MPSP continue to neglect the Rakyat, we are loosing lives. For political reasons, human lives are being played with. MPSP should get down to ground and start on massive cleaning!.

Malaysia Should Have Voted Against Sri Lanka!

A mix reaction today. The resolution against Sri Lanka have been passed and evan India have voted. But very sad that Malaysia decided to abstain. Evry issues are being politicize in the Country. This is a human rights issue. Its related to death and suffering of thousands. Disappointed that Malaysia fail to vote against Sri Lanka.

Worms & Insects!

Received a call early morning from some residents around Lorong Kikik, that some kind of worms is falling from a tree into houses and those walking around it. Many school students walk pass the tree daily to and after school. I visited the place and fair enough there were many worms and insects all around the tree and as wind blows it kept falling towards houses and on those who are walking nearby. I gave a call to

MPSP Special Squad, Mr Raju. By 2pm his team was already there to handle the situation. Initial check showed that the tree was free from any kind of insects and worms, but when some kind of chemicals sprayed, there were thousands of worms coming out. A temporary solution was taken and will be writing to 'Bahagian Perancangan' who will need to liase with TNB to chop down the tree.

MPSP

It was a busy day today for myself, Yacop, Munis & Sambath. We started off with the PCM press Conference by Major Huan Cheng Guan on the manufacturing of solar panel factory in Batu Kawan. Well i need to be there because i had done all the necessary preparation of information, facts & print out. The PC went on well and it lasted for about an hour. From there we made a quick stop in Taman Tenggiri to buy flowers to be taken to Nathan @ Karat's house who is having his father's 1st year anniversary.

On the way, we stopped at Taman Tunku to monitor and snap some photographs of the condition of the recreational park. It was once a clean and pleasing environment for sport activities. During our school days, thats where we use to play football and we use to have great time. Was shock to find the condition of the park which had long grass & full of rubbish. Its dangerous for users where the long grass could invite snakes. We notice the grasses along the river bank have been cut. So, JPS have undertaken their responsibility well. MPSP have been neglecting cleanliness and it pose to be dangerous to the residents whereby it could cause more mosquito breeding and end up more people being diagnose with dengue. We will be highlighting on this soon. Cleaner Greener Penang? We doubt so..

But all of house had a good laugh when there were some students 'lepaking' with 2 girls. Initially when we stopped, Yacop and i went the separate way. When I start to snap photos they gave us the peace sign. But from the other side when Yacop was walking towards them without realizing their existence, they were on their feet to run away with the girls. Two of them became so weak and were shivering when Yacop approached nearer. To make their day worse, Yacop told them that he have video recorded everything. We had a very good laugh all the way to Karat's house in Taman Baru.

After having our lunch, we headed to MPSP to study on the upcoming & future projects that are being implemented. MPSP had display it for public comments and opinion. So we headed to Bandar Perda. We were able to collect some valuable information and will send in our protest soon. We purchased the 'Draf Rancangan Tempatan Daerah SPT 2020'. All the upcoming & future project is displayed with information.

After spending about an hour in MPSP, we stopped for Yacop to have lunch. We went to BM for a quick check on some pricing and headed to the banner shop for the preparation of the upcoming Medical Camp by the Seberang Jaya Hospital Board, PIBG SMK Perai where Munis is the Chairman & Poliklinik Dr Rajoo.

After spending about one hour there, we stopped for a quick hot tea which by than was already 6.30pm. It was a long day but definitively a fruitful one.

MPSP Summon !!

Earlier today i together with Munis & Murali had attended the Pelancaran AJK KRT Prima Perai & the launching of COMBI by SPT Health Department. Dr Rafidah during her speech stated that the Dengue cases were serious in Perai and there are a few fatalities.   After that we headed to Surau Nurul Taqwa to attend Mr. Yakoph ( Perai JKKP Secretary ) daughter's wedding. As we were chatting, got a call from my school buddy who said that someone from MPSP had told him, parking summons are rarely issued in Raja Uda & BM areas. When i informed my friends on this, no one seems to be shock and many agreed that the possibilities are high. On how far its true, someone need to give a check on it.

1MCA Micro Credit For Youth

Recently MCA Party President, Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek had attended a meeting with Indian grass root leaders at Eastin Hotel in Penang. Well thumbs up to MCA for their initiative to open doors and serve all ir-respective of race. I came across some negative comments that were saying KOJADI - the Cooperative under MCA is keen in making profit within 5 years. Well for me its simple. No agencies, cooperative, private firms does or gives out loan for free. They might make less profit but they still do. The advantage of the MCA loan is regarding the requirement and the documents requested. I believe this have open doors for many Malay & Indian youths. PDC in Penang have been giving out small scale business loan of RM5,000.00. Well i wonder what can we start with a mere 5k. Furthermore, those who had applied since November last year, is still waiting for theirs to get approved. We have collected a total of 11 applications and have send it to MCA. Lets see what will the outcome be and how much is being approved for each individual. But again, Bravo to MCA for truly being #1Malaysia.

Will T. Murugiah Be Nominated As A Candidate in GE13?

Former Deputy Minister in PM's Department, Datuk T. Murugiah is well known for his humble approach and his fiery in attending into public concerning issues. Recently, DTM drop by Perai to officiate the Malaysian Indian Ex Serviceman Association. it was good to meet him up after quite some time. DTM is still contributing his energy and effort on the ground to assist those in need. I believe DTM is a winnable candidate and MIC should consider in giving him a seat. He was rushing to Taiping for a MIC event but stopped by our favorite spot ( Nasi Kandar Fajar ) to have the special briyani. Lets see if he will be given a second chance to contribute for the community.
