Preventing Dengue

Officials from Jabatan Kesihatan SPT visited Taman Inderawasih Perai. to prevent dengue after i extended a complain to them. Many areas were identified where there are possibilities for mosquitoes to breed. Turn up to be a good task. I had suggested for them for fogging and for them to inform MPSP for a massive cleaning. Initially few months back the pasar malam area and light industrial area was cleared after myself and Munis highlighted the issue. 

MPSP & State Government Gets Bashing

Saturday 14 Apr 2012 : What a tiring day. I only slep about 3.30am after updating my blog and woke up around 8am to check on the PCM flags that were hung all over Perai by the youths who have just joined PCM. Well after taking some photos, i went pass the schedule program 'Program Mesra Rakyat'? It struck my mind, does the leaders are 'Mesra' enough among them and towards public. Well many out there know the real answer.

I start receiving call from a councilor who wanted to know on the location of the dump site. Well its all over Perai and we still need to guide them. To my mind, i was questioning - why is the councilor acting so late whereby the news on Nanban came out weeks ago. only later i got to know through Derrick, that it is actually out in Star and MPSP have instructed on a major clean up today. 

Three teams were employed to carry out the duty. I was also told, that during a event today, Health Exco Phee boon Poh had told the reporters that there is no fatality. We are fully aware of it because during the launching of COMBI ( Click here ) on 18th March 2012 by SPT health Department, we were informed about it by the SPT Health Department. So as usual DAP & Phee Boon Poh is on track for spinning. Whatever -  a effort turn out well which will benefit the people for cleaner surrounding.

Again Dengue Case in Perai?

Heavy fogging was done by several teams in TNB Perumahan Perai & Taman Mas. Yacop, Munis, Murali n my self visited the area and was informed that there are several dengue cases. Some say why blame MPSP since its the Rakyat who is responsible. Well this kind of citizen who are selfish and supports PR Government blindly. Its the duty and responsbility of the local council to maintain the cleanliness of the area. Rubbish need to be collected, drain need to be cleaned, grass need to be cut. Its human lives we are talking about. So wake up - and its not only to MPSP but some idiots who dont see the real picture of the problem and its risk. This is not a political issue but lives!

'Cleaner Greener Penang?' on Malaysiakini

Our news was highlighted in Malaysiakini. Good write up by Susan Loone. Well its so childish for the MPSP councilor to say, dont politicize the rubbish issue. Its he & DAP who are politicizing the issue. Why dont they see the real picture of the issue that being raised? It concern's the health of the people. Well for some morons who has placed the comment, we know well who it is. The typo and sentence is well recognized. Carry on supporting blindly. We were against MPSP who  lack on their service, but some kids are concern to comment by supporting the council. Wake up and see for your own!

Inderawasih Dump Site Cleared & Cordon Off

We had raised up the Inderawasih Dump Site earlier. Thanks to MPSP Special Squad, Mr Raju who had taken fast action by not only clearing off the rubbish, but by cordoning off the area. He have done a very good job. Initially this particular place was full of rubbish and tires causing various problems to be public. Rather than complaining that those responsible have not been undertaking their responsibility, its better we extend the complains & issues to relevant authorities for the benefit of the local residents. 

MPSP Summon !!

Earlier today i together with Munis & Murali had attended the Pelancaran AJK KRT Prima Perai & the launching of COMBI by SPT Health Department. Dr Rafidah during her speech stated that the Dengue cases were serious in Perai and there are a few fatalities.   After that we headed to Surau Nurul Taqwa to attend Mr. Yakoph ( Perai JKKP Secretary ) daughter's wedding. As we were chatting, got a call from my school buddy who said that someone from MPSP had told him, parking summons are rarely issued in Raja Uda & BM areas. When i informed my friends on this, no one seems to be shock and many agreed that the possibilities are high. On how far its true, someone need to give a check on it.

Dengue Cases Getting Serious in Perai?

Is dengue case on the rise? Today morning at about 6.30am the Health Department had conducted fogging in Taman Inderawasih. It is very rare for fogging to be done on wee hours. While having rest at home in the evening, againg i heard the fogging sound. So immediately i left the door wide open, closed the grill gate and left together with my wife and our pet. We decided to go a round to Chai leng Park to buy some drinks. On the way i realize , it was whole Inderawasih taht are being fog. immediately we drove to Butterworth to take the BORR and return back to Perai. From the bridge i could clearly see almost the whole part of Inderawasih was being fog. There are some serious case i guess. Hope it is not any fatality due to dengue.

Dengue Case On The Rise At Inderawasih

Dengue case is on the rise in Taman Inderawasih. Fogging have been going on for weeks and almost daily. Will need to get down more to the ground to highlight on rubbish & drain clog. Health Department is doing their part. But negligence from MPSP is causing this dengue cases to prolong. I still dont understand, why does MPSP need to save millions but fail to keep the surrounding area clean which would defianetly prevent dengue ca 

Inderawasih Dump Site Cleared by MPSP

Few days back we highlighted on the rubbish dump site at Taman Inderawasih (Click Here). We ( Yacop, Muni & myself ) gave a heavy bashing on Twitter & Facebook and was about to call for a PC as advised by Major Huan. Today, Mr Raju of MPSP special squad called me to say that the area will be cleared. Iv known Mr Raju since 2007 evantough we have not met in person. He have help and assisted in so many issues including at SK St Mark Perai where it use to flood evan after an 1 hour downpour. By evening, the area was cleared off and the roads was washed. Have to give credit to Mr. Raju for his fast action.

Inderawasih A Dump Site!!

Taman Inderawasih have become a dump site. There are JKKP & JKKP elected by BN & PR. But why bith side have fail to undertake their responsbility? The lane where Pasar Malam is held and the area near to the unused bilding of Light Industry companies are full of rubbish. This need fast attention and action. Clearly, MPSP have been neglecting their duties. The state Government are boasting with the Cleaner & Greener Penang, but its not being implemented!
